In Hong Kong, the Enlightenment Association is the sole charity that offers support to patients who are suffering from cerebral epilepsy. It has the objective of providing support and a variety of services for all patients with epilepsy to raise public awareness about the disease. In addition to it, the organization is also working towards eliminating prejudice and improving the living standards of patients who are suffering from this disease. It is the mission of the Enlightenment Association to pay attention to patients who are affected by this disease and offer support to make their lives better. Other than providing support, the association is creating a society that understands and embraces individuals with cerebral epilepsy. While working, all the members of the association care about respect and empathy and equality for all people.

How you can help with a donation

In order to make a donation, the following steps should be followed:

1. On the Enlightenment website, the icon of making a donation must be clicked.
2. Clicking on the icon will open a new page in which there is a form visible that has to be filled up for making a donation.
3. In the form, the amount of money should be selected as there are several options like $100 and $500, etc. 
4. After selecting the amount, general information should be filled up, which includes the name and telephone number, etc.
5. Once general information has been provided, the donation method should be selected. There are two methods of donation, including direct deposit and cheque.
6. The last step is to tell whether the donor needs a receipt or not.
